Pre-Release Test Build

Provisional Access — Beta Test Program

The HRST-NET web terminal is operating under a pre-release beta certification. Subsystems are undergoing active field evaluation — expect intermittent faults, incomplete modules, and unscheduled maintenance windows.

Operator records and deployment data logged during the beta period may be reset or migrated without notice. Report anomalies to HRST Operations via the Spectrum corporate channel.

[HRST-LEGAL // PUBLIC FILING]

TERMS OF SERVICE

▸ Section 1 — Provision of Service

Citizen Synx is provided free of charge and on an invite-gated basis to members of the Star Citizen player community. Access can be revoked at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. The platform is offered "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

▸ Section 2 — Acceptable Use

By using Citizen Synx, you agree not to:

  • Use the platform to harass, threaten, or harm other users.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts, organisations, or systems.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or redistribute the platform or its data without permission.
  • Upload content that is illegal, infringing, or violates the rights of any third party.
  • Use automated tools to interact with the platform in ways that degrade service for others.
▸ Section 3 — Account Responsibility

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We are not liable for losses arising from compromised credentials.

Accounts that remain unused for extended periods may be suspended and subsequently deleted, as described in Section 5 of our Privacy Policy. We will give notice by email before this happens.

▸ Section 4 — Contributions

Voluntary contributions made through Ko-fi or any other channel are donations toward operational expenses, not purchases of goods, services, in-game items, or access. Contributions are non-refundable. The platform remains free regardless of contribution status.

▸ Section 5 — Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Citizen Synx and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform. This includes, without limitation, lost profits, lost data, or game-related setbacks.

▸ Section 6 — Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

[HRST-LEGAL // PERSONNEL DATA HANDLING]

PRIVACY POLICY

▸ Section 1 — What We Collect

When you create an account and use the platform, we collect:

  • Account data: username, email, hashed password, optional display name, optional RSI handle.
  • Profile data: avatar, bio, timezone, availability, skills and other fields you choose to fill in.
  • Activity data: organisations joined, ships flown in tracked sessions, contracts created, messages posted within the platform.
  • Combat telemetry (optional): if you enable live tracking, kill / death events parsed from your local Star Citizen Game.log. Parsing happens on your device; only summary events are uploaded.
  • Technical data: minimal request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security and debugging.
▸ Section 2 — Why We Collect It
  • To operate the platform: authenticate you, sync your profile across devices, and deliver the features you use.
  • To enable multi-player features: org membership, fleet coordination, matchmaking, contracts.
  • To keep the platform secure: detect abuse, investigate reported incidents, prevent unauthorised access.
  • To improve the platform: aggregate, anonymous metrics on which features get used.
▸ Section 3 — Where Your Data Lives

Account credentials and profile data are stored on infrastructure operated by Firebase (Google Cloud) and Railway (Postgres). Both providers operate under their own privacy and security commitments. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising purposes.

▸ Section 4 — What You Can Control
  • Edit or remove most profile fields at any time from the profile editor.
  • Set your profile to hidden so other personnel cannot see your handle, ratings, or history.
  • Disable live combat tracking — telemetry uploads stop immediately and historical events can be deleted.
  • Download everything we hold about your account as a JSON archive at any time, from Settings → My Data → Export My Data.
  • Request full account deletion by contacting us through the project's contact channel. We will remove your account and associated personal data within a reasonable period, except for limited records we are required to retain for security or legal reasons.
▸ Section 5 — Account Inactivity and Data Retention

We keep your account for as long as you use it. If you do not sign in for an extended period, we will contact you before removing it.

  • Notices. After 60, 90 and 180 days without signing in, we send a notice to the email address on your account, and a Discord message if you have linked a Discord account. Each notice explains how to keep your account and how to download your data.
  • Suspension at 180 days. After 180 days without signing in, your account is suspended. Suspension is reversible and destroys nothing — signing in restores your account immediately and in full, with no request or review needed.
  • Deletion at 270 days. If you do not sign in for a further 90 days after suspension, your account and associated personal data are permanently deleted. This cannot be undone. We keep a minimal record that an account was deleted and when, together with anonymised entries where we have a legitimate interest in retaining them — for example moderation history, from which your identity is removed.
  • Signing in is all that is required. Any sign-in resets the inactivity period. There is nothing to submit and no one to contact.
  • Accounts we do not remove this way. Administrator and moderator accounts are excluded from automatic removal. If you found an organisation that still has other active members, your account is not deleted automatically — we contact you so that ownership can be transferred first.
▸ Section 6 — Third-Party Services

Some platform features connect to external services on your behalf — for example, Discord linking, optional ARIA agent calls to language model providers, or live commodity pricing from community APIs. Data sent to these services is limited to what the feature needs and is governed by the provider's own privacy policy.

▸ Section 7 — Children

Citizen Synx is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided personal data to the platform, please contact us so we can remove it.

▸ Section 8 — Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or via email when appropriate. The current version is always available at this URL.
